Chris is the region’s Associate Director in NPCA's Minnesota Field Office in Minneapolis.

Chris has been with NPCA since 2011, protecting some of our northernmost national parks. She worked deeply with the park service and researchers to ensure successful wolf restoration at Isle Royale National Park. Chris leads efforts around Minnesota’s Twin Cities to keep invasive carp from entering the Upper Mississippi River. The Stop Carp Coalition waged a successful campaign to close the Upper St. Anthony Falls lock as a means of stopping these voracious fish from moving further upstream. Prior to NPCA, Chris launched the first field office for Transportation for America and served as a staff attorney with the Housing Preservation Project. She grew up visiting South Dakota’s national parks but now considers Isle Royale her favorite.
