The NPCA website was developed to inform users about the issues facing our national parks and our work to protect them. We provide the means for individuals to take action to protect parks for future generations. The information we collect online is intended to provide decision makers with necessary constituent information. We will never share your email address with any outside parties. NPCA, or the affiliated Action Fund may, from time to time, contact you by mail or email. At any time, you can make changes to your address and email preferences. You can also notify us of changes or request to be taken off our mailing list at email@example.com.
When you choose to make a contribution to NPCA, we need to know your name and mailing address. For online contributions, we also need to know your email address and credit card information. NPCA takes appropriate steps to encrypt your credit card information and protect your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your financial information to others; however, from time to time we do make the postal addresses of our donors available to organizations we think you will find of interest. If you prefer that your name be omitted from this list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Contributions also may be made by printing out this PDF form and mailing it to Member Services, NPCA, 777 6th St., NW, Ste. 700, Washington, DC, 20001, or by calling 800.628.7275 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
We may change any part of this policy, without any separate notice to users. The current policy will always be posted here. We will not change the purpose of this policy, which is to protect your privacy consistent with our goals as a non-profit membership and advocacy organization dedicated to protecting America’s national parks.
NPCA will never sell, rent, or lend email addresses of our subscribers to anyone.
Registered subscribers can remove their names from our email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of every email message. You can also request to be removed from our email list by contacting us at email@example.com. Please include your name, address and your email address that we send our messages to so we can expedite your request.
NPCA sometimes rents its postal mailing list (but never email addresses) to other nonprofit organizations and companies that we feel you may be interested in hearing from. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not wish to receive these mailings. Be sure to include your NPCA membership number and/or your name, address and email address to help expedite your request.
NPCA does not host third-party advertising on its website. However, we do sometimes promote our corporate partners by including links to their websites and information about them on our website. NPCA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these sites.
NPCA collects certain necessary financial information (e.g., credit card number) when you make an online donation to support our park protection work, join NPCA or renew your membership.
Our site has security measures in place to protect the loss or misuse of your information. At npca.org your personal and credit card information are encrypted by SSL (Secure Socket Layers) and your information is protected in an encrypted environment that adheres to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
As a service to our visitors, we sometimes provide links to other websites. A link does not denote an endorsement of those websites and NPCA is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
