Brittany Mathis was the park ranger who took us on a walking tour of the Bailly Homestead. It was a very rainy day in June 2023 and we had a private walk in the woods because we were the only ones who showed up for the ranger lead tour. She brought history to life as we walked the homestead and later visited the cemetery. She is the reason why we learn so much from all the places we visit in the Park Service. Rangers are the backbone of the National Park Service. Thank you Brittany.
Sincerely,
