My son was recently rescued by the Dunes Rangers. He was running down the Dunes and fell. He fractured his leg in 3 places. I was not with him but my parents were. They said they were great. My mom said it felt like a long time as they waited but when you are panicking I’m sure it felt that way. I want to thank them for coming to the rescue.
Sincerely,
Indiana Dunes National Park

“I love to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. God created a beautiful natural world for us to live in and enjoy. I appreciate having public parks with rangers to keep us safe. I will pray that future generations get to enjoy the wonder and beauty of Gods creation with the added benefit of rescue rangers ❤️”
