Greetings from Indiana Dunes National Park

I’m in Chicago, so this was among the closest. For 10 summers, we made at least one 3-day trip where we enjoyed hiking, swimming and enjoying nature. It’s a key childhood memory that brings me back.

Indiana Dunes National Park

An urban oasis just 35 miles outside of Chicago, this park includes more than 15,000 acres of sensitive dune lands, bird-filled marshes, oak and maple forests, and remnants of once-vast prairies.
