I am writing about the 4 acre MaryRobertsRinehartNaturePark in Sewickley, PA. A few us built this naturalized park out of a dump 7 years ago. It has become the only completely naturalized park in W.PA. Anyone can do this with a little love and care for our environment and alot of hard rewarding work.

Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site
This site preserves the location of the first railroad built over the Allegheny Mountains, which operated between 1834-1854. The direct route between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh played a critical role in opening the interior of the U.S. to trade and settlement.
