These bison are in the Tetons. I set up the camera and watched the pair for an hour or so, then took this picture when things looked just right.
This area would surely make a great spot for a baseball stadium. There would be room for the stadium, parking lot, a nice big motel, some chain restaurants and maybe a strip mall. Plus approach roads and a helipad and stuff. ATV riders will have a great starting point
I’m sure it would be great fun for those who like baseball, and plenty of money to be made by the plutocrats who think that any place left undeveloped is just a waste of space and should be handed over to the private sector to be “improved.”
Of course tax incentives should be available to lesson their financial burden for this public service.
Sincerely,
Grand Teton National Park
This spectacular destination preserves a dramatic stretch of the Teton Range bordering the Snake River. One of the unusual features of these distinctive mountains is the absence of foothills, meaning that there are no smaller mountains blocking the view. The park also features glacier-carved lakes, a historic district of weathered buildings made by 19th century Mormon homesteaders, and an abundance of wildlife large and small, including nearly 1,000 bison that roam the grassy fields in herds.

“I've had some wonderful experiences in national parks. I'm too old and decrepit to see any more, but I hope to God they will be there for others. And it churns my stomach to know the decision will be made by kleptocrats and misanthropes, none of whom has a scintilla of humanity. ”
