Greetings from Glacier National Park

Pristine glacial lakes, a boat dock, and an old cedar forest.

This is Glacier National Park, a place that I’ve never set my foot on due to the pandemic.

I took an online course from Glacier Institute and learned about how the landscape of the park came to be. I learned about the various landforms and the geological history that has shaped the landscape of the park into what it is today. Though I took the course from the comfort of my house, I still got a lot out of it.

A few years ago, I visited Yosemite National Park. I felt nostalgic when the photos from the online course reminded me of the rustic campgrounds and awe-inspiring landscape. The hiking, activities, and the people that I met were all unforgettable. The trip left me wanting for more.

I am glad that I took the online class to learn about Glacier National Park, and cannot wait to visit it when the pandemic is not a hurdle. I look forward to making new, lasting memories.

Sincerely,
Justin
