Greetings from Shenandoah National Park

Our daughter grew up in the Shenandoah National Park – literally, from being carried in a baby seat on my back to leading us up the trail and climbing the highest rock until we caught up. Newly married, she lives at the north end while we live at the south end and we expect to meet often with her husband somewhere in the middle. It never gets old…. like seeing a bear cub scramble after its mother just the last time we drove home after visiting “our overlook” where the Appalachian Trail crosses the road above Sawmill Run. (I’ve covered hundreds of miles on park trails including the AT marveling all the time at God’s world.

Sincerely,
Bob
