I can’t believe this photo was from a decade ago. One decade ago, I recreated a trip with my parents (and my kids), that my parents took me on about four decades ago. We visited Luray caverns and drove through Shenandoah National Park. On the drive, it was fun, even though it was a rainy weekend. As we drove, we turned a corner on the path and the fog suddenly lifted and we saw a double rainbow! You can see the smaller one a bit more faintly on the left. We had to get out of the car and snap a few photos and everyone was so happy.
It was great that I brought my kids and my parents to recreate that trip. I hope that I can visit again as a grandparent in the future with my kids’ kids. Thank you for all that you do, it was a great memory.
