Victoria Villaseñor is a public historian dedicated to storytelling, social justice, historic preservation, and sustainability.

Born and raised on the South Side of San Antonio, Texas, Victoria has deep roots in the community she now serves. She began her career with the National Park Service as a Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (SAAN) through AmeriCorps. Having grown up attending church services at Mission Concepción, the missions have always felt like a second home. During her time with the NPS, Victoria’s appreciation for—and sense of responsibility to—her mission community deepened as she explored the significant role the missions played in the founding of San Antonio in the 18th century. From that point forward, she was committed to advocating for and preserving not only this remarkable national park site, but also the multigenerational stories that shape the park’s cultural landscape.

In 2022, Victoria joined Mission Heritage Partners (MHP), the official nonprofit partner of SAAN, where she took on a more active role in advocacy, fundraising, and community outreach. Her work focused on strengthening funding structures, co-developing new engagement programs with NPS staff, and expanding public awareness of the missions’ enduring cultural and historical significance. Through MHP, Victoria gained hands-on experience with the strategies that sustain and promote national park sites in diverse communities.

In 2025, Victoria accepted a position as Market Outreach Specialist with CLEAResult. In partnership with CPS Energy, she now leads initiatives that support San Antonio’s transition to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral future—especially for small businesses and residential neighborhoods. She is proud to continue serving her community at the intersection of conservation, energy equity, and environmental stewardship.
