Makayla Thornton is a graduate student at Texas State studying Public Administration. She received her BS in Conservation Biology at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry where she learned strategies on how to defend and preserve the environment. Upon graduation, she'd like to work for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to protect our wild lands.
