Jayda Hayman is the Delaware River Field Representative. From Newark Delaware, she is a recent 2024 graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor's in Environmental Studies and a concentration in Environmental Advocacy.

She served as the Co-President at her university’s UNICEF chapter and as a speaker at TEDxYouth. At Yale, she conducted research in Environmental Health Science at the Yale School of Public Health and spent a summer with the National Student Leadership Conference leading, teaching, and putting together curriculum for incoming students about environmental issues. Additionally, Jayda comes to NPCA with grassroots advocacy experience from her time as an intern at PennEnvironment.

Starting in June of 2023, Jayda worked as a Clean Air Intern here with NPCA. During her time as a Clean Air Intern, she has worked on various projects. Some of these include the Regional Haze Advocates webpage, providing assistance with regional haze state comment period materials, assisting in compiling data for the 2024 Polluted Parks Report, helping with environmental justice definition materials for the Environmental Justice Working Group, and most recently conducted research and a wrote a report on the effects of atmospheric mercury deposition in national parks. And In her free time, she loves taking her dog Miloh on walks, and doing yoga outdoors!
