Jayda Hayman is joining the Mid-Atlantic Young Professionals Advisory Council. From Newark Delaware, she is currently obtaining a bachelor's degree at the University of Delaware as an Environmental and Global Studies student in the College of Earth, Ocean & Environment.

She has a deep interest in sustainability and environmental justice, and previous work experience centered around the environmental legislation for fracking and other industrial pollution across the state of Pennsylvania. She also has research experience in the environmental health sciences, observing the potential health impacts of communities living in close proximity to abandoned oil and gas wells across the state of Ohio. Jayda is also a current Clean Air intern with the Conservation Programs team here at NPCA, and has worked on projects analyzing the environmental justice concerns related to regional haze pollution across the country. She has a passion for environmental advocacy, and is excited to gain the opportunity to expand her interests with other young professionals in the region.
