Daniel leads federal policy communications efforts, including legislative and advocacy campaigns related to energy development, mining, transportation, environment, veterans, and other federal issues.
Daniel has spent his career at the intersection of storytelling and public service. He brings seven years of Texas Legislature experience spanning both the Senate and House, along with a background in private sector public affairs — both in-house and in a consulting capacity.
A resident of El Paso and native of Marfa in the West Texas borderlands, Daniel is passionate about advocating for underrepresented communities and amplifying undertold stories. His work in public policy, strategic communications, and community engagement is rooted in a generational spirit of public service. He previously worked with NPCA on the campaign that established the Blackwell School National Historic Site, the former de facto segregated school for Mexican Americans in Marfa.
