Alina Bourke is a marketing professional and climate legislation advocate dedicated to advancing equity, sustainability, and access to nature. Raised off the grid in upstate New York, she developed a deep-rooted connection to the natural world from an early age.

After a decade in corporate marketing, Alina made the bold decision to realign her career with her passion for social and environmental justice, and mission-driven work and now leads marketing campaigns for cultural institutions, broadway plays and attractions in NYC.

Her experience includes leading diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and sustainability initiatives within corporate settings, as well as volunteering with 350Brooklyn’s legislation and media team to support climate-forward policies. Alina leverages her expertise in strategic storytelling to educate and mobilize communities, aiming to bridge the gap between people and the natural environment.

As a multi-racial woman residing in New York City, Alina brings a unique perspective shaped by her urban and rural experiences. She has visited numerous national parks across the U.S., Canada, and South America, and is committed to ensuring these public lands are inclusive and reflective of the nation’s diversity. Through her role on the NPCA’s Next Generation Advisory Council, Alina aspires to contribute to the preservation and accessibility of national parks for future generations.
