Alex Thompson is a Graduate Student at Texas State University in the Public History program. When she is not in school, she is President-Elect of her church board, Executive Assistant to the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry, or just organizing in the Hays County area. She is a happy dog mom to Lily Tomlin and Winston Fox with whom she shares with her partner Destry.
What I love about national parks:
National Parks to me are the only place where everything stays the same. When change is constant in our lives, being able to go to a national park or almost any natural area brings me calm and allows me to re-center. This phenomenon is not just experienced by myself, but many others as well.
