Living in Nashville, I appreciate having the Natchez Trace Parkway so close to the city. Its a place where I get a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery and step away from all the city noise. I absolutely love the serene landscape of this place.

The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile roadway that winds through Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee and tells the stories of Native American Choctaw, and Chickasaw, as well as "Kaintuck"--boatmen who floated merchandise down rivers and spent days walking home after dismantling their boats.
