Greetings from Mount Rainier National Park

I’ve been looking at Mount Rainier, up close and far away for more than 40 years. It is easy for a park as beautiful and easily accessible as Mount Rainier to be loved to death. I appreciate everything that the rangers on the mountain do to keep this iconic part of the northwest intact and safe for a wide range of users.

Sincerely,
Irene

Just an hour's drive from Seattle, the park's wild landscape feels much further from civilization. The forests, parkland, wetlands, lakes and rivers offer 260 miles of trails and varied habitat to dozens of plant and animal species.
