Greetings from Grand Teton National Park

I have been visiting Grand Teton Park for the past 50 plus years. I worked at Jackson Lake Lodge and Jenny Lake Lodge during the summer of 1977. My wife, Tamara, and I return every April as we have a timeshare condo in Jackson and much family in Eastern Idaho. We love Yellowstone too!

Sincerely,
Father Coke

Grand Teton National Park

This spectacular destination preserves a dramatic stretch of the Teton Range bordering the Snake River. One of the unusual features of these distinctive mountains is the absence of foothills, meaning that there are no smaller mountains blocking the view. The park also features glacier-carved lakes, a historic district of weathered buildings made by 19th century Mormon homesteaders, and an abundance of wildlife large and small, including nearly 1,000 bison that roam the grassy fields in herds.

State(s): Wyoming

Established: 1929

“The future of the national parks is a huge concern for us. We regret that our current U.S. government does not provide sufficient funding that is required for maintaining such a national treasure of parks and wildlife sanctuaries. God bless you in your efforts in maintaining and improving the wider populations appreciate of these national parklands.”
