I truly love all of the National Parks but I will share just one of my many adventures in the NPs. I went to Bryce Canyon with my wife in January of 2023 and was truly blown away with the beauty of it. Although it was cold we hiked throughout the canyon (never saw anyone else because it was winter) and just really soaked in the tranquility around us. It’s such an incredible experience and to feel so removed from our busy society today was really the most relaxing. We have traveled to many other parks but this was our first national park together so that will always stand out to me.
Sincerely,
Bryce Canyon National Park
This popular park is most famous for its colorful hoodoos, and there are more of these artfully eroded spires here than anywhere else on Earth. The area is not actually a canyon, however, but a series of amphitheaters which feature remarkable rock formations and extensive forests dominated with conifers, including ancient bristlecone pines. Together with Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks, Bryce Canyon is part of a geologic wonder known as the Grand Staircase, an immense area of rock with layered sedimentary formations ranging from 600 million to 2,000 million years old.
