Chickasaw National Recreation Area

This National Recreation Area in Oklahoma features springs, streams and lakes which attract swimmers, anglers and boaters alike. Six campgrounds and forest trails also provide for great family outings.

State(s): Oklahoma

Established: 1976

“The girls in our troop want to partner with the staff at Chickasaw National Rec for their Highest Award project. The people here are excellent resources; their expertise and passion have inspired our girls in so many ways. We would not have such beautifully maintained natural habitats without them.”
