Pride in Our Parks 2023

Happy Pride, park advocates! This June marks our third annual #PrideInOurParks campaign, celebrating stories from the LGBTQ+ community in our national parks – but this year, we’re taking you to the parks.

We’re inviting the LBGTQ+ community on free day trips in three different national parks, led by NPCA staff and featuring some of your favorite queer outdoor influencers.

JOIN US:

June 3 Mammoth Cave National Park

June 10 Channel Islands National Park

June 24 Shenandoah National Park

NPCA’s work centers around ensuring everyone feels welcome and included in our national parks. We’re proud to support the LGBTQ+ community all year, uplifting the voices and visions of queer creators, and continually working to protect queer history with national park sites like Stonewall National Monument.

Can’t make it on one of our trips but still want to celebrate Pride with NPCA? Share your #PrideInOurParks story on Instagram by tagging @NPCApics and submitting your story to MyParkStory.
