National Public Lands Day Fence Removal at Petrified Forest National Park

Join NPCA for a volunteer day of service on Saturday, September 22 -- National Public Lands Day -- at Petrified Forest National Park!

Together with Friends of Petrified Forest and the National Park Service, we’ll remove an internal fence to help the free migration of wildlife such as pronghorn.

Previous volunteer efforts have removed over 13 miles of barbed wire and mesh on the 50,000 acres of the Paulsell Ranch that the park has purchased and leased since 2011.
