11th Timucuan Science & History Symposium

We invite you to join Timucuan Parks Foundation and National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) who are proud to co-host the 11th Timucuan Science & History Symposium.

This bi-annual event highlights the natural, cultural, historical, and scientific research that deepens our understanding of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve—one of Northeast Florida’s most extraordinary landscapes. The Symposium brings together researchers, students, community partners, and park stewards to share knowledge, spark collaboration, and inspire action. This symposium is open to everyone — community members, students, researchers, and the general public are all warmly invited.

Our national parks need our support now more than ever, and that’s why we’re proud to co-host this event with Timucuan Parks Foundation — the voice for Jacksonville’s natural areas. Together, we can advocate to ensure these treasured places remain protected and thriving for generations to come.
