Shanya joined NPCA in May 2019. As Associate Director of Foundation Relations, Shanya focuses on implementing development strategy, grant writing and deepening donor relationships to support our wonderful national parks.
Living in Washington, DC, the urban national parks in the city are her favorite. But after recently visiting Bryce Canyon National Park, she realizes there’s a whole world of rocky, precipitous national parks she has yet to explore, and her favorite may soon change.
