In his role as Associate General Counsel, Ryan manages NPCA's extensive contracts portfolio and provides general legal, compliance and corporate counsel throughout the organization to support and protect national parks.
Prior to joining NPCA in 2025, Ryan worked as a Compliance Attorney at Venable LLP and a Contracts Associate at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Ryan has a love for the outdoors and a deep interest in history and the role that our national parks play in the preservation of our shared heritage and culture. Outside of work Ryan enjoys spending time at the beach with his wife and daughter.
A native of Baltimore Maryland, Ryan is a graduate of Marquette University and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Ryan is admitted to practice law in Maryland.
