Qwynne is a Ph.D. student from Beaverton, Michigan currently studying at the University of Utah.

Thanks to her nature-oriented family and a few interpreters and environmental educators, she developed a strong passion for conservation at a young age. Previously, this passion motivated her to pursue studies and outreach opportunities focused on environmental education, interpretation, and ecotour guiding in the United States and South Africa. Her current research endeavors examine the impact national park policy on park sustainability initiatives and on the relationships that exist between parks and local communities.
