Lucy Alejos is a proud first-generation backpacker, cyclist, yogi, and traveler, or as her family would say hippie, from San Antonio, Texas.

Her commitment to helping others connect to the outdoors has led her to serve on NPCA’s Next Generation Advisory Council as well as Natural Leaders Network, City Kids Wilderness Project, and Greens Bayou Coalition’s Paddle Trail Committee. She currently works at Outdoor Outreach in San Diego connecting youth, of similar backgrounds to herself, to the outdoors and to healthy activities that will change their lives forever. She is excited to support NPCA efforts to connect to diverse audiences through digital platforms.
