As the Director of Outreach and Engagement, Larissa works to advance NPCA’s goal of engaging large and diverse communities and empower them as national park advocates. She works closely with NPCA’s regional and field offices on advocacy efforts and manages NPCA’s Next Generation Advisory Council.
In previous roles, Larissa worked on a variety of environmental conservation and policy issues ranging from protecting wildlife to advocating for clean water and the need to build a healthier food system. Prior to joining NPCA in 2017, Larissa was a program director and policy analyst at Center for Food Safety. Larissa holds an M.A. in Environmental Policy from Lehigh University and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Siena College.
