Jennifer Quintero is passionate about environmental advocacy and education, and has worked to forge meaningful connections between people and their natural resources throughout the course of her career.

Her experiences as a park ranger in some of the nations most visited national parks such as Everglades and Yosemite have honed her skills in creating interactive educational programs for audiences of all backgrounds. This is a medium she thinks best encourages others to fully immerse themselves in the environment around them and to, of course, never stop being curious.

Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in environmental science at Florida International University, where she also works as a research assistant. She strives to take on conservation issues in our federal lands and continue to promote diverse audiences in outdoor spaces. On days off, you are still likely to find her on a trail talking to anyone willing to listen about any interesting plants or birds she might’ve spotted that day.
