David is a native Texan, currently working as a civil rights lawyer with the American Civil Liberties Union in Houston. As part of his civil rights work, David has fought to protect southwestern borderlands on behalf of community and environmental groups.
David is passionate about conservation, public space, and environmental justice. He spends most of his free time outside, climbing trees, bouldering, hiking, camping, and lounging.
