I currently call Pittsburgh, PA (aka the “Steel City”, “Paris of Appalachia”) home, but I’m a Virginia native and grew up in the Shenandoah Valley.
Our country’s national, state, and historic parks have provided me quality time with family and loved ones, experiences for personal growth and reflection, and connected me to environmental and social issues I care about. I currently work in tech as a writer and communicator, but I’m excited for the opportunity to get out from in front of the screen and advocate for the Mid-Atlantic Region’s parks and historic places.
