Greetings from Yosemite National Park

I grew up going to national parks every so often, but I didn’t realize how special these places were until I went to Yosemite. Yosemite gave me the eyes to see how inspiring wilderness can be. My first wilderness experience was my first year in college with a group backpacking trip with a group from the University of California, Merced. I never thought that going to college, I’d find a passion for national parks. I find beauty in the idea that Yosemite NP and other protected lands are places that belong to everyone; that they’re protected for me, my friends, and my family forever. That is why, above all else, Yosemite and national parks are made special to me because of time I spend there with the people I love!

Sincerely,
Moses
