Greetings from Statue of Liberty National Monument

Several weeks ago my wife and were visiting New York City , Our last visit was 20 some years ago . We decided to visit Statue of Liberty -LIBRARY ENLIGHTENING THE WORLD - . We were lucky enough to get in line for one of the amazing National Park Rangers . The tour even though it was brief was extremely informative and enjoyable. It brought Lady Liberty to life and her history and story quite enjoyable .

Statue of Liberty National Monument

The statue stands on Liberty Island in New York, and overlooks New York Harbor and the city skyline. A symbol of liberty and relief from oppression, she was the first sight of America for US immigrants who arrived by boat.
