I was fortunate enough to spend a week in Glacier for the first time, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The sheer amount of beauty I witnessed was overwhelming. Learning about fish and plants that inhabit the park only helped to solidify my understanding of the elaborate ecosystem of Glacier. We stayed at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center, which was completely off the grid. I was able to go on a few scenic hikes around Lake MacDonald and Apgar, as well as explore various fish hatcheries and nurseries in the surrounding area. It was a great experience and I’d love to go back someday.
