When we went to Smokey Mountain National Park, it was one of the most beautiful places we had ever seen! My daughter who was four at the time learned so much about nature and geology as we all had the chance to watch a movie on how these great mountains were formed and all the incredible plant and animal life they support. It is hard to imagine that these wondrous places may become something of the past if Congress keeps on cutting the funding of such paradises on earth!
