My husband and I have been to Yellowstone twice and can’t wait to visit again! On our first visit, we entered through the South entrance after driving through Grand Tetons, another amazing park! It had just started snowing and suddenly a great grey owl swooped across the road, just in front of us. It was a magical experience! The magic continued for the next six days in Yellowstone. The rangers we met in the park were happy to share their knowledge and added to the wonders we were finding! Yellowstone has so many different layers to embrace; landscapes, geothermal activity in various forms, rivers and waterfalls, weather and wildlife! I appreciate the work that the Rangers and park employees do that we, the public, see and don’t see. Our second trip to Yellowstone was a completely different, yet equally awe inspiring, experience. The weather was different, Mammoth Hot Springs were dry this time, while they were overflowing the last time. We didn’t see any owls the second time, but we did see badgers this time in addition to the elk, bison, coyotes that we encountered both times. I love to tell people about Yellowstone and encourage them to visit! I love our National Parks and am thankful to get to visit them! I have a number of stamps in my National Parks Passport!

Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
