Inspiring and awesome experience felt when one grounds with the earth and touches the Statute of Liberty. It’s as though you are able to transport for a moment and feel the wonder and excitement of freedom to come. Especially all the toil and hardships it took so many to leave their homes to travel and seek “America the Free”. It’s heart warming to see park rangers and people that care enough to take care and preserve the past so that it’s still here for the future and next generations to come.

Statue of Liberty National Monument
The statue stands on Liberty Island in New York, and overlooks New York Harbor and the city skyline. A symbol of liberty and relief from oppression, she was the first sight of America for US immigrants who arrived by boat.
