I’ve never been to the park, but I’ve watched the bear webcam for years, and the rangers have been so informative. I never imagined I’d have the opportunity to see so many bears living out their best bear lives in such a beautiful natural environment. And, the rangers have added so much to my understanding of the ways of nature and it’s yearly cycles. What stands out most, however, is the kindness they showed when what us humans would consider tragedies happened. At least twice, cubs died on camera and other deaths have happened, and each time, rangers carefully explained how and why these types of things happen, as well as how this is real life in the wild. I so appreciate their time and sensitivity. They’ve added richness and understanding to what was already an awesome experience.
Sincerely,
