I remember going to the Appalachian scenic trail with my family, a few summers ago. The views were absolutely stunning> From on the drive up, to the actual hike itself, it was extremely scenic.

One of the longest and most famous trails in the United States, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail traverses 14 states and leads explorers through mountains, forests, meadows and culturally important lands along the East Coast. Visitors can hike the entire 2,160-mile path between Georgia and Maine, or enjoy parts of the trail on weekend or day hikes.
