Greetings from Grand Canyon National Park

My dad was a seasonal ranger at Bryce and we had been to all the National parks in the southwest. We took our kids when they were teens to Grand Canyon and I was holding my breath when they looked our over that magnificent vista, because I fully expected some teen dismissal of it. Instead, they both gasped and said, “That’s amazing!” It was such a special moment. It only got better when we went on hikes together, and they climbed rocks, totally thrilled with nature. That is how important our parks are. We all need nature and wonder in our lives. And the park rangers are the ones who light that path for us.

Sincerely,
Sara
