I grew up in Bozeman, MT and as a child, my family visited Yellowstone NP every year. We always stayed a couple of nights at the Old Faithful Lodge. This was a chance for my family to spend time together, playing games in the absence of TV. We watched the geyser go off multiple times during our stays. We loved to enter the park through Mammoth, hiking the geyser trails and watching the elk that live there. Yellowstone is an irreplaceable resource in the US and I very much appreciate the work that the NPCA does.

America's first national park is named after the river that runs through it. Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
