Last fall I backpacked down to Phantom Ranch from the south rim of the grand canyon, and then hiked back up the next day. Every ranger I encountered asked if I was doing okay. They also took the time to answer questions about the park. Park rangers also clean the restrooms. Trail crews keep the trails in good shape. Thank you!
