Not long before COVID, my husband and I brought some friends from Denmark to Yosemite for a few days. We entered through the Wawona entrance, and the ranger asked if we had ever been to the park before. We explained that we visited often, but that it was the first time for our friends. I’ve never forgotten her response: “please enjoy the park; it’s right where you left it!”
