My sister and I visited the Grand Canyon in June of 1964 right after I received my Bachelor’s degree. We were naive and did not understand that the hotel on site was booked many months ahead (they did find an odd space for us to sleep that night). We spent the next day wandering around being astounded by this natural wonder. However long ago that was, I have not forgotten.
