I started camping at Blackwoods Campground in 1950 as a child. Our family spent at least a week there every summer until I was a junior in high school. I continued through my adult years and my husband and I spent our honeymoon there and many trips during the 40 years of our marriage. We will return again this summer to Blackwoods. (We now live in AZ). The park rangers over the years were instrumental in developing my love of the outdoors and nature and my love for the national parks. My husband and I have traveled and camped in many of the US and Canadian Parks and it started in Acadia as a child. Thank you, thank you to all the Park Rangers over the years.
Sincerely,
Acadia National Park
