Greetings from Great Smoky Mountains National Park

I went on a week camping trip with my best friend Taylor. We explored new terrain and became closer friends. When I got home to Florida and was looking through old photos, I noticed I went to some of the same spots with my family 15 years ago!! The heart will always bring you back home to nature.

Sincerely,
Alissa

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Great Smoky Mountains national park is one of the country's most popular national park sites. It offers postcard-perfect views and plentiful wildlife.

State(s): North Carolina Tennessee,

Established: 1926

“National parks are a great escape for the human mind and spirit. Not only does it help the environment (obviously through air, life cycle, animals) but it helps society. Children who grow up going to different parks are more caring and open minded than those who don't. Everyone should experience multiple parks in their lifetime.”

National parks represent the best of America. Why do you care about protecting and preserving them? Tell us why parks matter to you!
