My husband and I honeymooned at Mesa Verde! We had both been individually, prior to meeting, and we both share a love for Colorado and national parks. We decided to road trip from Oklahoma City, and share that experience together. It was perfect, enriching, rejuvenating, and really special to visit again, after getting married at home.
Sincerely,
Mesa Verde National Park
This World Heritage Site preserves more than 600 cliff dwellings typical of the Ancestral Puebloan culture, which lasted from about 450 to 1300. The allure of this park is not only the remarkable ruins, but also the mystery of the people who inhabited them.
