Greetings from Yellowstone National Park

I’ve been to many National Parks and Lakeshores, and I have had a great experience at each one. I want to share a particularly fun story with a ranger. After college, before I found a job and was feeling a little down, I went on a backcountry camping trip with three friends in Yellowstone. Before we setout into backcountry, we met with a ranger who happily told us where to go and to what to watch out for. In a way it felt like receiving adult guidance and natural guidance at the same time, which was exactly what I needed in that moment. Later that day, the four of us saw a spectacular double rainbow fill the entire sky, seemingly 20 feet away from us. It was awesome.

Sincerely,
Greg

The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
