This is my mission statement. Yosemite is at my back door..
They call me National Park Gramma and I’m proud of it! It’s not just because I have seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren who deserve to experience nature. The nature that has nurtured us. It’s not just because I have a picture book series about a Mouse who has learned to teleport to National Parks using a computer keyboard. It’s not just because I first added my mission statement to my Mouse series well before there were threats to our irreplaceable and cherished parks. It’s because I promise to devote my remaining years to convincing our world of how much we need these havens. No matter our politics.
